A Woman Who Doesn’t Quit

Woman Who Doesn't Quit photo

Have you ever struggled to follow through with a commitment when problems or adversity came your way? Have you ever quit a diet, a Bible study, a project, or fallen short of a goal? We often begin with a gung-ho determination, but so quickly our motivation fades into a lackluster, hum-drum routine. We might as well hang it up!

As women of God, how do we find the perseverance to keep going when it becomes painful or overwhelming? Will it really make a difference if we as women make the decision to follow through with our commitments even in the midst of adversity?

In this study, A Woman Who Doesn’t Quit, by Nicki Koziarz, we will walk that road with one of my favorite characters in the Bible, Ruth. We will learn five habits from her life that we can also apply to our lives in order to develop strength of character and perseverance. I would love to be a woman like Ruth! I am so excited to dig deeply into the book of Ruth with you all so that we can share and learn together from the Word of God!

When we choose to persevere, as Ruth did, even when difficulties persist, we will have the opportunity to be shining examples of Christ to this world. This is my ultimate goal!

Wow, what a small world! I still go by Sharon to most people, but I had always wanted to use Shari. It never sounded right with Seymour or Rosales, but when I married Jeff,I started using it. Of course, now I have the whole Shari Lewis and Lambchop thing going on now! Lol

I haven’t seen you in years! How exiting to catch up! Welcome to Bible study!

I’m really looking forward to getting encouragement to deal with life’s stresses and also possibly develop new friendships! Looking forward to this! I have enjoyed being in your group in WBC as well as being a leader at WBC myself. Ruth is one of my favorite people in the Bible and I have been experimenting with all type of Bible book studies to find a good fit for me. I have great feelings that this is going to be blessed. Thank you so much! Much success and happiness to you Sheri!

Shari, I would love to do this study my walk with the Lord is really lacking. I do not know if you remember me from Women Bible Cafe? I had a really hard time the last few years. I need to get back with the Lord, but cannot afford the book. I will pray for you and you study. Blessings in all you do. Sue Schwendemann.

Sue, how wonderful to hear from you again! It has been so long! I have thought about you a few times and wondered how you were doing. It’s good to see you back online! You have about five weeks before the study begins. If you put aside about $2 or $3 per week, you will have enough for your book. However, even if you can’t buy the book, you are welcome to join us in the group, view the videos, and participate in the discussions. Just do the best you can do and get all that you can out of it. Also, be sure to read through the book of Ruth. Welcome aboard, Sue!
