I am so excited to bring you some wonderful news!

Today is the day we announce our spring studies for Heart to Heart Women’s Bible Study! The Lord had led us to two fantastic studies, and I can hardly wait!

As we are wrapping up our amazing winter study from the book of 1 Corinthians, it is time to begin anticipating a fresh new season of study at Heart to Heart! We will begin with a beautiful Easter study, The Women of Easter, by Liz Curtis, Higgs, followed by an exciting new Bible study, Becoming Heart Sisters, by Natalie Chambers Snapp.

You’re about to meet three women named Mary, each of whom has a life-changing encounter with Jesus. Mary of Bethany prepares the way for the Lord’s burial when she anoints His feet and fills the air with her perfume. His mother, Mary of Nazareth, remains by His side from His first breath to His last, her loyalty unwavering. Mary Magdalene, delivered of seven demons, bravely supports her Teacher through His darkest hours, then proclaims the glorious news of His resurrection.

What a trio. What a Savior!

Your mind and emotions will be engaged and your faith strengthened as each scene unfolds, preparing your heart for a richer, deeper Easter experience. Liz Curtis Higgs, a seasoned Bible teacher and award-winning novelist, combines her storytelling skills with a thorough verse-by-verse study of Scripture as together you explore the remarkable lives of The Women of Easter.

Our Easter study will begin March 20th. We invite you to join us! We will read two chapters per week for four weeks, as well as studying portions of the Gospels together. This will also include weekly small group sessions, prayer ministry, videos, summary blog posts, and optional daily opportunities for interaction in the Facebook group. This will be a meaningful and memorable Easter season!

Immediately following our Easter study, we will begin Becoming Heart Sisters, by Natalie Chambers Snapp, on May 1st.

As Natalie leads you in a deep exploration of timeless truths in the Old and New Testaments, you will learn how to develop and nurture the kind of enriching and satisfying friendships that build up the body of Christ and bring honor to God. Personal testimonies and stories of successes and failures add a level of authenticity that is refreshing and insightful. As you learn to cultivate God-honoring relationships, you will become more like Christ and demonstrate His love to a broken world.

Study participants will find deep study of Scripture’s principles for God-honoring friendships; help for navigating conflict, setting boundaries, and learning to forgive; in-depth study of Scripture with testimonies and stories that “ring true,” the do’s and don’ts of authentic friendships; and Bible-based guidance for building stronger and deeper relationships.

The participant workbook includes five days of lessons for each week, combining study of Scripture with personal reflection, application, and prayer.

All you need to do to register with us is to leave a comment at the bottom of this post to let us know you will be joining us. It’s that simple!

  • Follow my ministry page on Facebook, Shari Lewis Ministries, to stay up-to-date on ministry events and for daily prayers, nuggets of wisdom and encouragement for your life, photos that you are welcome to share, and faith building blog posts to strengthen you in your walk with Christ.
  • Purchase the study books.

Flourish

We are continuing our year-long devotional study as well! Flourish, by Margaret Feinberg. This will be a come and go as you please study, and we will have one short devotion per week. However, these devotions pack quite a punch! How would you like to see your faith bloom like never before? How would you like to learn to live life to the fullest and discover fresh joy in your everyday life? This will be a lighter time of learning to listen to the voice of God speaking His truth and love to your very soul, and to express yourself creatively through the weekly color pages. Mary Youngmiller, one of our leaders at Heart to Heart, will continue leading this study throughout the year.

It sure is going to be exciting this spring at Heart to Heart! I am so thrilled that you have joined us. Please invite a friend, and let’s study the Bible together!

God bless!

I struggled with the women of Christmas for some reason, so I think I will sit the Easter one out which is perfect because the farm is going to be busier and I am already doing James, Flourish and a new one at church during that time. But I will be doing Heart sisters because by then most of the others will be over and this sounds like it is exactly what I need. Wonderful!

I sure do love doing Bible studies with you, Stephanie, but I understand. Book studies are a completely different layout. I will see you in the James study, however, and I am already loving it! Becoming Heart Sisters is going to be so special! I look forward to going through it with you!
